Solar Energy

Here at Solar Powered People we’re interested in any new development, any new technology and any new business that helps us towards taking full advantage of this free and plentiful source of energy. Countries and cultures all over the world have for thousands of years developed ingenious methods for capturing and harnessing the light and heat from the sun and as technology improves solar energy still seems like the most likely answer to the current energy crisis both worldwide and in the UK. Whether we access that solar energy through passive or active solar energy sources, or most likely through the use of photo-voltaic (pv) cells and the latest solar panels and solar technologies is irrelevant, as long as we start doing it now.

So in addition to putting you in touch with all the solar panel companies in your area, here at Solar Powered People we also want to keep you up to date with all the latest news in the solar energy field. Solar technology is still in its infancy and the potential is huge. Our solar future starts right here.

If you’re in the market for a solar energy system, have a read through some of the articles and guides on our site and then why not have a flick through our directory to see if there is a solar panel installer in your area?
